Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI)

Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI):

The OSDI is a reliable instrument for measuring the severity of dry eye disease. A few studies have been published validating the OSDI in measuring dry eye disease severity and the effect dry eyes have on vision-related function(1,2). Depending on the patient’s answer, The OSDI is assessed on a scale of 0 to 100. The higher the score means greater the disability. It exhibits sensitivity and specificity in differentiating between normal subjects and patients with dry eye disease.
